Big Bazar and its sales techniques.

Goal is to make money, achieving it even with limited resources can be achieved through premium sales.

Premium sales is about gaining high margins, usually its the quality and speciality that gives it the premium tag.These days every one is attempting to do that.They call it retailing and it is considered a sunrise industry.
We do have quality retailers and we have some who claim that and trick the customers.

Big Bazar is a Retailer in India with outlets in many cities and  is doing a fairly good business.

In Big Bazar quality of products is not upto the premium quality.I am of the opinion that most in it are of REJECT nature.On these they do give discounts and people who are not well aware of these are tempted to buy them at those rates.

Above mentioned strategy is executed in different forms and results are achieved.

Some of their practices include usage of microphone and screming an offer which is valid for 1 hour and that would mean 50% discount, but if you look close and examine that product may not be something which is worth even the discounted rate.

They do have this buy one get one offer. people tend to do the maths themselves and consider it cheap.IT cannot be cheap when you get two t-shirts for Rs200/- but none of them good enough to be used at all. Which they will realise later.
