To pay my tribute to the Indian Rupee symbol

Some time back in June government had proposed to hold a contest to propose a symbol for Indian Rupee

I like the idea to hold a symbol for Indian Rupee as it is gaining importance and a symbol for it would push its significance even further.

Finally a symbol was selected which was submitted by a student from IIT mumbai, who has now been appointed in IIT Guwahati,this symbol would be added in unicode and computer keyboards are likely to have a key dedicated with this symbol.
