Earth's Orbit is getting polluted.

Long back i heard that earth's orbit is getting polluted, and i was told that once a astronaut left a rope in space which started to fly around and constituted to debris in space.Then it seemed too trivial to pay attention and later on we heard about a Russian space station which was on the verge of collapse.

It seems likely that anything strewn into space can contribute to debris in space and also it will begin to effect when the quantity of the debris increases.Later we may need space clean up drive.

I happened to come across a picture which is said to indicate the debris in space.Although this picture may not be actual it is likely to happen.

Believe it or not, even space contains copious amounts of pollution. An estimated 4 million pounds of space debris — nuts, bolts, metal and carbon, even whole spacecraft — currently orbit the Earth, threatening satellites, communication and even the lives of our astronauts.

Although the above picture may give doubt to some expert photoshop experts job.It does seem to be a threat in the long run.Yes it is getting contaminated with the pollutants.
