Look carefully and read the Opinion poll on the left margin. Usually opinion polls of the nature of political views or that of after effects of an event etc are gathered on Opinion poll.
But to conduct a Opinion poll on "why do women fake orgasms ?" and giving options like
- to get it over with already.
- because everyone is having one, I am going to have one too.
- you mean having an orgasm isn't a sex myth.
I have heard that during a Powerpoint Presentation a pornographic images were flashed, when it was flashed it grabbed the attention of the viewers and this was repeated in regular interval and thus used the pornographic images as a stimulant to engage the viewers to the presentation.
So things of sexual appeal in appropriate dosages can be used grab attention.
For long i have heard that MID DAY a tabloid in mumbai was regularly into posting 'pin-ups' and i have seen mumbaikars gleam at it as soon as they grab a copy of MID DAY and during chit chat some have mentioned so and later on even in South India evening dailies made it a habit to add news of this nature, there are rumors that sometimes they are even twisted in this angle.
But 'indiatimes' has beaten them all by giving a opinion poll on women's orgasm as the topic.There is more glamour in indiatimes than what you might expect.

Ok, I shouldn't laugh but I couldn't help your use of "I may have to inject you" on the topic of faking orgasms : )
But I don't really see this as glamourous? And the answers are obviously meant to be funny (or at least I would hope). So I agree that it is definatly a ploy to get readers.
Though I am not really familiar with Indian culture, so it's hard comment really, it terms of the social aspects and how sex effects the media where you are.
In America it's (sex, nudity, pornography )everywhere and I don't think that it would get a second glance.
